A Small Firm
with BIG Firm Ability

David W. New, P.C. was first founded in 1984. The firm possesses a vast and broad knowledge of the complicated and technical fields of employee benefits and union labor law. The firm is experienced and offers our clients the best and most practical guidance in the field.

Since its inception, the firm has been standing counsel to several large jointly administered union/management benefit funds known as Taft Hartley Funds. The firm also represents many employers having union contracts handling their labor and employee benefit fund issues. The various issues handled are listed on the The Firm page of this site. These Funds and Employers involve unions such as the Teamsters, Longshoremen, Electricians, Roofers, Sheetmetal Workers, Carpenters, Paper Industry, Laborers, Hotel and Service Employees, Office Workers and Food Handlers. Our clients are based throughout the country, but predominantly NJ and NY.

The firm represents clients in matters typically handled by much larger firms. The firm believes that success does not depend on the number of lawyers handling a particular matter or payment of exorbitant fees, but on the expertise and experience brought to the table by a practical lawyer who serves the client’s needs. The firm’s clients consistently express their satisfaction with the handling of their matters and especially the accessibility. Response time is a high priority with all inquiries being addressed in the shortest time possible; follow-up calls and emails from clients are extremely rare. The firm’s size permits and advances close working relationships with clients, many of whom have used the firm’s services for decades.

Please note that we do not represent any unions or other labor organizations.
